Rules Clarification : Threads of Life      (Edit) Threads cannot be used vs "non-attack" stuff (like Electro-Leap). Threads can be used on models clipped by an AOE attack. Threads will block special abilities that deal a fixed amount of damage instead of a damage roll (such as Deadly Shot, Needle, Sniper, etc), because those abilities are resolved at the same time as a damage roll normally would be.
