- Riot Quest - Although this model has rules which allow it to be played in Warmachine and Hordes, it was primarily designed for the Riot Quest boardgame. RQ is set in an alternate and/or future timeline where the Infernals won the war. Some of the RQ models are slightly more goofy than their WMH equivalents.
Abilities
- Pathfinder
- Tough
- Freak Out = Once per turn, when it gets damaged, it gets +6 STR and boosted attack and damage rolls for one round.
- Primal Rage - Once per turn, when this model suffers damage from an enemy attack at any time except while it is advancing, after the attack is resolved it can immediately make a full advance toward the attacking model and can make one basic melee attack.
- Shield Guard - Once per round, when a friendly model is directly hit by a non-spray ranged attack during your opponent's turn while within 3" of this model, you can choose to have this model directly hit instead. This model is automatically hit and suffers all damage and effects. This model cannot use Shield Guard while it is incorporeal, knocked down, or stationary. The Shield Guard special rule can only trigger once per attack roll.

Thoughts on Shivers
Shivers in a nutshell
In an ideal world he takes a hit via Shield Guard, and triggers both Primal Rage and Freak Out. Then he advances and uses his 3d6 attack roll to try and Critical Smite someone. Note that he doesn't need to advance directly towards the attacker, nor does he have to target the attacker.
In an unideal world he takes a hit via Shield Guard and gets killed.
Combos & Synergies
- he has all of the typical Wolfsworn synergies Grayle gives him tactician, War Wolfs trigger sic em and Morraig gives him +1 to attack rolls
Drawbacks & Downsides
- His output is very ‘feast or famine’ if the enemy do not damage him he does very little, if they do he is a competent combat solo. Because this requires your opine t to play into your hands it is very easy to negate.
- a Wold Wight is a 5point shield guard that takes Battlegroup buffs.
